Individual Booking and Cancellation Conditions
Booking
Every reservation, once confirmed, constitutes a contract under current Italian law, binding both the person making the reservation and the hotelier.
You may submit an availability request and wait for our response. Alternatively, you can book online by following the instructions available on our website www.ameliehotel.com. Upon request, you will receive a (non-binding) offer with booking details. The reservation is confirmed only after our written communication specifying the total price of the stay and after the deposit payment or the submission of a credit card as a guarantee. Any required deposit must be paid within 3 days of our confirmation.
If the payment is not made within the required time, the reservation will be considered void. The reservation becomes binding for Hotel Amelié only upon receipt of a copy of the deposit payment receipt or the credit card details for the authorized withdrawal. Please send a copy of the payment via email to contact@ameliehotel.com.
At this point, Hotel Amelié will send the customer a confirmation email or a summary voucher to be presented at check-in. Confirmation of the reservation implies acceptance of our cancellation and deposit terms. Please check the accuracy of the confirmation details and notify us of any discrepancies as soon as possible. Notifications must be received within 4 days of receipt of confirmation. After this period, we decline any responsibility for inaccuracies. Upon arrival, all guests, including minors, must present an identification document.
Booking Modification
To make changes to the reservation, please contact the reception staff, who will do their best to accommodate your request. However, we cannot guarantee fulfillment of the request.
If the reservation is moved to a period with higher rates than the amount paid, the customer must pay the difference.
Payment
General Conditions
The following are required: credit card details as a guarantee (no prepaid cards).
For holidays or events:
A deposit payment must be made within 3 days of booking confirmation. The deposit amount is 30% of the total stay cost for up to 3 nights and 50% for longer stays. If the deposit or requested information is not received within the specified dates, the booking will be considered void. The same applies to the balance. If the balance is not paid, the reservation will be canceled. As per Article 1385 of the Civil Code, the deposit is non-refundable in case of cancellation or no-show, unless exceptions are agreed with the customer.

The remaining balance must be paid upon departure. Any additional expenses must be settled before departure.

Please send a copy of the transfer receipt via email to contact@ameliehotel.com, indicating your booking date, phone number, and email address. You will receive confirmation.
Advance Payment - "Non-Refundable"
For this special rate, the full amount is charged to the credit card or requested via bank transfer at the time of booking. The full amount is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Tourist Tax
From January 1, 2018, the Municipality of Omegna has introduced a tourist tax. The fee for this accommodation is €1.00 per person per night, payable at the reception.
Cancellation Policy
Any booking cancellation must be communicated in writing. Please refer to your booking confirmation for specific cancellation conditions. For cancellations or modifications made up to 15 days before the scheduled arrival date, no charges apply. For cancellations or modifications beyond this period, the full cost of the booked stay will be charged to the credit card provided as a guarantee. This cancellation policy does not apply to the "Non-Refundable" discounted rate.
Hotel Amelié reserves the right to charge the total amount in case of cancellations beyond this period. No refund will be granted to guests who choose to shorten their stay after arrival, and the full booked stay must be paid.
No Show (Non-Appearance)
In case of no-show, the deposit will be retained, and the full stay cost will be charged to the credit card provided as a guarantee.
Confirmation of the reservation implies acceptance of our cancellation and deposit terms.
